Disc golf players have four basic types of slots for their discs. These are top loading, side loading, power independent, and combination designs. Before you buy a slot for your discs, it’s important to do your research.
Kicker
Kicker slot is the position of a player who is selected in a fantasy football lineup. A kicker’s primary responsibility is to kick the ball to the opposing team’s goal. As a result, kickers are often the most valuable players in fantasy football leagues. It is important to choose your kicker wisely. Not every kicker has the same impact on your league, and you may need to make some adjustments if you want to get the best kicker possible.
Stopper
A stopper for slot is a bottle that has a slit cut into its bottom to prevent spilling and to allow liquids to flow into other containers. They can be cylindrical or oval in shape, and may range from 0.5 to 5 inches in diameter. Smaller stoppers are ideal for small bottles, while larger ones are ideal for flasks and other larger vessels. Stoppers have been studied for their effectiveness as spill-control devices, and there is some debate over whether they are more effective than spouts.
Coin hopper
A prior art slot for coin hopper entails a slot where coins are placed to be counted. Many of these systems are intended for use in a casino’s money room. Examples of such prior art include U.S. Patent No. 5,193,629 issued to Lare and U.S. Patent No. 4,512,428 issued to Bullivant. While many of these prior art systems are useful, they do not meet the needs of a gaming machine environment. The hopper needs to be accessible and enclosed, be operable in a loud electrical environment, and have features to detect theft.
Step motor
A stepper motor has two operating modes: full and half. Full mode is used to change direction while half mode reduces rotation. The latter option offers more angular resolution and lower torque. The drive electronics don’t need to be modified to support half-stepping.
